A Rosary for Martin Chavez 62, of Blanco, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-November 4, 2009-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will be held at a later date.



Martin was born on April 27, 1947 in San Rafael, New Mexico and he passed away on October 31, 2009 in Farmington, New Mexico.



He is survived by his children: Lucy Harris of Bloomfield, New Mexico, Nancy Chavez of Rifle, Colorado, Annette Chavez and husband Teotso Lucero of San Rafael, New Mexico, Samantha Chavez and husband Christino Enriques of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Peggy Chavez of Jacksonville, Texas, Martina Puckett of Farmington, New Mexico, Antonia Tafoya and husband Tommy of San Rafael, New Mexico, Annabelle Tafoya of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Bill Tafoya of Farmington, New Mexico, James Tafoya of Milan, New Mexico; Sisters: Sylvia Salcido and husband William of San Rafael, New Mexico, Mary Padilla and husband Mel of San Rafael, New Mexico; Brothers: Eugene Chavez and wife Dannie of San Rafael, New Mexico, Cecilio Chavez and wife Lorraine of Phoenix, Arizona, Manuel Chavez and wife Sally of Grants, New Mexico and Richard Chavez and wife Ramona of San Rafael, New Mexico; 23 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.



He is preceded in death by his parents: Augustine and Lucy Chavez.
