Funeral Mass for Martha A. Martinez 86, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-December 30, 2009-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday-December 29, 2009-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Martha was born on July 14, 1923 in Fierro, New Mexico and she passed away on December 25, 2009 in Grants, New Mexico.
She is survived by her Daughters: Ernestine Griego and husband Del of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Emilia Balli and husband Esteban of Grants, New Mexico and Rita Renaud and husband Richard of Chesapeake, Virginia; Brothers: Jesus Arciero and wife Sophia of Byard, New Mexico, Arturo Arciero of California and Esequiel Arciero and wife Cordelia of El Paso, Texas; Sisters: Azucena Flores of Bayard, New Mexico and Carmen Valles of Los Angeles, California; 7 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Augustin R. Martinez; Parents: Jose L. Arciero and Francisca Gonzales Arciero.
Pallbearers will be: Esteban Balli, JR., Ryan Renaud, Robert Renaud, Ramon Marquez, Keith Zamora, and Robert Flores.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ralph Flores, Ruben Flores,and Victorio Rodriguez.
