Visitation for Mark D. Johnson 82, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-July 27, 2013-11:00 AM till 12:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary. This will be followed by a Graveside Service at the Pioneer Memorial Cemetery in Bluewater, New Mexico at 12:30 PM.
Mark was born on July 3, 1931 in Tooele, Utah and he passed away on July 24, 2013 in Grants, New Mexico. He was retired from the Uranium Mines after working 35 years and was self employed after that. He loved going to the Mountains and Prospecting and loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his Daughters: Yvonne Gray of Grants, New Mexico, Barbara McNeill and husband George of Milan, New Mexico, Dawna Wright of Milan, New Mexico; Sons: Marty Johnson and wife Marcel of Winnemucca, Nevada and Blain Johnson of Winnemucca, Nevada; Sisters: Marrietta Fuell of Bluewater, New Mexico; Jeannette Painter of Tooele, Utah, Maxine Shields of Tooele, Utah and Bernice Morris of Tucson, Arizona; 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his Wife: Eleanor Rae Johnson; Parents: Mary Johnson and Theron Johnson; Step Mother: Mary Mann Johnson; Grandchild: Mark Gray; Brother: Ronald Johnson; Sister: Bessie Seals; Step Brother: Dan Monroe; Step Sister: Lucille Abrams and Son-in-Law: Fred Gray.
Pallbearers will be: Marty Johnson, Blain Johnson, Shon Wright, Heath Wright, Bryant Johnson, and Mychelle Gray.
