Mario Montoya

Funeral Mass for Mario Marcos Montoya 39 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-June 25, 2015-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park with military honors by the VFW Lodge 3221.



A rosary will be held on Wednesday-June 24, 2015-7:30 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.



Mario was born on August 22, 1975 in Las Vegas, New Mexico and he passed away on June 17, 2015 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the US Airforce.



He is survived by his Children: Dominic Montoya of Leadville, Colorado, Adrian Montoya of Grants, New Mexico and Esperanza DeHerrera of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Mother: Debra Duran Montoya and husband James Stverak of Grants, New Mexico; Brother: Mark Montoya and wife Marissa of Grants, New Mexico; Sister: Megan Montoya of Grants, New Mexico; Stepsisters: Sarah Griego and husband Adrian of Farmington, New Mexico and Jami Stverak of Grants, New Mexico; Niece and Nephews: Amber Ley Padilla, Liliana Padilla, Kori Montoya, Nickolas Montoya, Xavier Arrey.



He is preceded in death by his Father: Ambrocio Montoya, Jr.; Grandfathers: Ambrocio Montoya, Sr. and Claudio Duran; Grandmothers: Celina Montoya and Alicia Duran.



Pallbearers will be: Jorge Mendez, Victor Echavarry, Daniel Duran, Chuck Marez, Samuel Gonzales, Dennis Leon.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jason Irvin, David Alcon, Brian Duran.
