Memorial Services for Madeline M. Weigl, 84 of Gallup, New Mexico will be held on Friday-January 4, 2012-10:00 AM at the Lighthouse Church, 2045 Westview Drive, Gallup, New Mexico. Pastors: Bill Overton and Greg Johnson will officiate.
Madeline was born on April 24, 1928 in Gallup, New Mexico and she passed away on December 24, 2012.
Madeline graduated from Gallup High School. As a young woman she worked for First State Bank, Navajo Freight Lines and Central Motors in Gallup. She married Mike Weigl, Jr. in 1959, along with her husband; she worked for and was co-owner of Sutherland Furniture for over 30 years. Madeline was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
She is survived by her 2 sons: Michael (Wendi) Weigl, Kevin (Kathy) Weigl, of Gallup, New Mexico; sister: Wilma Jovanovic of Goodyear, Arizona; 4 Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Emma Akenhead; Husband: Mike Weigl, Jr.
Pallbearers will be: Ryan Weigl, Nathan Weigl, Justin Weigl and Erin Weigl.
