Funeral Services for Lynda Kay Branum 51 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-August 15, 2013-11:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor Dale Thatcher will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday-August 14, 2013-4:00 PM till 7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Lynda was born on March 27, 1962 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and she passed away on August 10, 2013 in San Jon, New Mexico. She was a registered Nurse and worked for Case Management at the time of her death. She graduated High School from Rio Grande High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Associate of Science in Nursing from UNM in 2007. She was very active with the 4-H of New Mexico.
She is survived by her loving husband: James E. Branum, Jr. of Grants, New Mexico; Son: Kevin Branum of Broadview, New Mexico; Daughters: Tammy King and husband Colby of Aztec, New Mexico and Kari Branum of Grants, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Kayden and Shane Branum of Broadview, New Mexico and Bailey and Brooke King of Aztec, New Mexico; Parents: Charles Wenzel and Janet McDaniel Wenzel of Silver City, New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her Daughter in law: Rebecca Branum; Father in law: James Branum Sr., and Brother in Law: John Branum.
Pallbearers will be: Don Wenzel, John Wenzel, Gary Bently, Robert Cook, Roger Wenzel and Bruce Wenzel.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her Uncles, Aunts, Nieces and Nephews and the 4-H Members of New Mexico.
