Funeral Mass for Lupe Estella Pohl 72 of Grants, New Mexico will be held Tuesday-October 6, 2009-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant.
A Rosary will be held on Monday-October 5, 2009-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Lupe was born on March 3, 1937 in Grants, New Mexico and she passed away on September 30, 2009 in Grants, New Mexico.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She enjoyed sitting on the porch watching them play and enjoyed them to the fullest. She loved trying to teach them spanish.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years: Eloven Pohl of Grants, New Mexico; Daughters: Margie Pohl of Grants, New Mexico, Angelina Pohl of Grants, New Mexico, Eloisa White of Grants, New Mexico; Son: Dennis Pohl of Grants, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Asja White, Shane White and Jaycie White all of Grants, New Mexico; Sisters: Jennie Soto of San Francisco, California, Mary Flores of San Francisco, California and Margaret Marquez of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Frank Robledo of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Albert Robledo of San Francisco, California and Fred Robledo of San Francisco, California; Aunt Rita Serna of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Son in law: Shane White of Grants, New Mexico; her cousins: Lydia Chavez and Karen Stewart.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Jose Montano and Eloisa Montano; Daughter: Debbie Pohl.
Pallbearers will be: Catarino Hernandez, Ivan Marquez, Shane White, Joseph Quintana, Frank Chavez and Steven Hands.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Eloy Molina, Fedencio Aragon, Margaret Marquez, Bea Hernandez, Ruby Marquez and Sue Hansen.
