Rosary for Lucy Martinez 80, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-February 5, 2014-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday-February 6, 2014-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.



Lucy was born on May 3, 1933 in San Miguel, New Mexico and she passed away on February 1, 2014 in Grants, New Mexico.



She is survived by her Sons: Henry Martinez and wife Sharon of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Moises Martinez and companion Shanon Miller of Grants, New Mexico, Rudy Martinez of Grants, New Mexico; Daughters: Rebecca Martinez of Grants, New Mexico and Eulalia Mascarenas and husband Leroy of Grants, New Mexico; Sisters: Benita Jiron of Flagstaff, Arizona and Alice Benavidez of San Juan, New Mexico; 15 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild and her pet companion Rusty.



She is preceded in death by her Husband: Eufelio Martinez; Parents: Vicente Sandoval and Sofia Padilla Sandoval; Brothers: Eufemio Sandoval, Emiliano Sandoval and Augapeto Sandoval; sisters: Matilda Jiron, Juanita Gallegos, and Tagrasia Padilla; Grandchildren: Leroy Mascarenas, Jr., Vicente Martinez and Crystal DeArmond.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Moises Martinez, Jr., Toby Martinez, Patrick Martinez, Timothy Martinez, Joseph Martinez.
