Lucy was born on April 29, 1909 in Guam, New Mexico and passed away on November 8, 2007 in Grants, New Mexico.

She is survived by her daughter: Lucille Wood and husband George of Belen, New Mexico; Sisters: Francis Peterson of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Florence Eldridge of El Cadones, New Mexico; Daughter in laws: Rhoda Lynn and husband Bruce of Milan, New Mexico, and Minnie Hoisington; 11 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchldren.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Joe Hoisington, Parents: Fred and Francis Howard; Sons: Leroy Hoisington and Joe Dee Hoisington; SistersL Annie Goodman and Ruby Ramirez; Brother: Freddy Hoisington; Granddaughter: Debbie Wood.

Pallbearers will be: Joe Dee Hoisington, Jr., Tim L. Hoisington, Leroy Hoisington, Jr., Jimmy Hoisington, Jessie Hoisington, Cody Hoisington, Jack Simpson, Josh Simpson, Wes Wood, Les Wood, Chad Shurter, Mario Chavez, Xaiver Chavez, Clay Durnal, Derk Salazar.
