Lucy Armijo

Lucy Armijo 81, was born on November 9, 1941 and passed away peacefully in her sleep on September

13, 2023 in her home in Bibo, New Mexico.



She is survived by her husband of 54 years Onesimo Armijo; Sons Randy (Joseph) of Silver Spring, MD,

Bobby (Justina) of Bibo, NM, Mark of Las Vegas, NM; granddaughters Ariana (Elias), Alexis, Sister Domie

Archunde of Albuquerque, Brother Rudy (Martha) of Belen and Sister-in-Law Jenny Marquez of Grants

and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Ismeal and mother Beneranda

Marquez; Brothers Rosendo, Walter, Perfilio, sister-In-law Lizzie, and brother-in-law Johnny.

Lucy enjoyed going to the casino, traveling and cooking for her family and friends. Everyone looked

forward to her homemade sopapillas, tortillas, blue corn enchiladas, and pastalitos. She enjoyed

quilting, sewing and many other crafts, which she loved giving as gifts. One of her biggest passions was

praying and singing at the morada. She was known for her smile, sense of humor, and beautiful kind

heart.

A rosary and mass will be celebrated on Monday September 18th, 2023 at our Lady of Sorrows church in

Seboyeta at 9am followed by burial at Bibo Cemetery.
