Rosary and Funeral Mass for Luciano Serna, Jr. 81, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Monday-December 10, 2012-9:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Rafael Community Cemetery.
Luciano was born on September 7, 1931 in San Rafael, New Mexico and he passed away on December 6, 2012 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was retired from Anaconda Mines and was a Veteran of the US Air Force.
He is survived by his Sons: Patrick Serna of Grants, New Mexicvo and Gary Serna and wife Chris of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Brother: Louie B. Serna and wife Connie of Grants, New Mexico; 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his Parents: Luciano Serna, Sr. and Julianita Serna; Daughter: Durinda Barela; Sisters: Arsenia Dominguez, Erlinda Chavez, Damenia Chavez and Rafelita Pena.
Pallbearers will be: Steve Barela, Danny Mirabal, Tommy Garcia, Joey Bounds, Abel Serna and Larry Chavez.
