Luciano Cruz

Funeral Mass for Luciano Cruz, 87 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Monday-December 5, 2016-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.



A rosary will be held on Sunday-December 4, 2016-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.



Luciano was born on December 14, 1928 in Llano, New Mexico and passed away peacefully at his home on November 30, 2016 in Grants, New Mexico.



He worked for the Mines for 42 years. He loved camping, fishing and spending time with the Grandchildren. He enjoyed teaching the Grandkids and sharing his knowledge with them.



He is survived by his Loving wife of 49 years: Helen Herrera Cruz of Grants, New Mexico; Children: Gerard Cruz of Moreno Valley, California, Manuel Cruz and companion Tina Robinson of Grants, New Mexico, Beverly Martinez and husband John of Cerritos, California, Evelyn Hernandez of Grants, New Mexico, Elizabeth Rodarte and husband Fred of Grants, New Mexico, Anna Landschoot and husband Damon of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Joe M. Cruz of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Frank Cruz of Las Vegas, Nevada; Sisters: Josie Leyba of Ojo Sarco, New Mexico, Senaida Borrego of Henderson, Nevada and Jennie Quintana of Las Vegas, New Mexico, Amelia Trujillo of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 24 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his Parents: Manuel Cruz and Elivite Leyba Cruz; Brothers: Ernest Cruz, Elevinio Cruz and Tony Cruz.



Pallbearers will be: Chad Roybal-Cruz, Lawrence Brown-Cruz, Bryan Cruz, Damon Landschoot, Joseph Quintana, Dyvin Marez.
