Lola Baca

Rosary and Funeral Mass for Lola C. Baca 80, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-January 5, 2010- 9:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant.



Mrs. Baca was born on March 15, 1929 on a ranch near El Morro, New Mexico and she passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends on December 29, 2009 in Grants, New Mexico. She was the last surviving child of Juan and Francisquita Chavez.



She will be sorely missed by all who ever had the privilege to know her. She will always be remembered for her warm heart and great cooking.



She is survived by her son: Juan D. Baca and wife Viola of Ridgecrest, California; Daughters: Barbara Cregger and husband Kelly, Jr. of Grants, New Mexico and Judy Baca and husband Tom Venardos of Las Vegas, Nevada; Grandsons: Joseph Baca of Grants, New Mexico, Chris Cregger and wife Soha of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Cory Cregger and wife Kris of Bedford, Texas; Great Grandchildren: Joey Baca, Jacob Baca, Camdyn Cregger, and Sophia Cregger and Great Great Grandson: Joey Baca, III; as well as many nieces and nephews.



She is preceded in death by her husband: Jerry Baca, Jr.; Parents: Juan Chavez and Francesquita Chavez; Sons: Richard Baca and Leory Baca; 6 Brothers and 5 Sisters.
