Graveside services for Linda Lou Besler will be held on Saturday-September 3, 2022 at the Bison Cemetery. Rev. Brian Brown will officiate.
Linda was born on May 20, 1951 in Hettinger, North Dakota to Alfred and Nora Heupel and she passed away on August 7, 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She grew up on the farm near Bison and attended school in Bison. She was married to Richard Besler on May 31, 1969. They started their life together on the Wayne Besler Ranch and later lived in various locations.
Linda and Richard were bother employed at the State Hospital in Custer, South Dakota. Later Linda moved to Lander, Wyoming where she worked until her retirement. Linda was dedicated to her patients giving them love and the best of care. Upon retirein she moved to Grants, New Mexico where she spent the last 10 years of her life.
While growing up, Linda loved to work outside on the farm. She loved gospel music, coloring, and most of all her siblings. She always had a very difficult time when it came to good-byes and now, she is in that place where there are no more good-byes.
She is survived by her Brothers: Alfred Heupel and wife Judy of Culbertson, Montana, Leonard Heupel and wife Janice of Hettinger, North Dakota, Lester Heupel and wife Cleita of Dodge City, Kansas; Sisters: Alyce Hurst of Minneola, Kansas, Margie Kvanvig of Rapid City, South Dakota, Diane Brown and husband Terry of Grants, New Mexico, Debbie Heupel of Denham Springs, Louisiana; She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Parents: Alfred and Nora Heupel; Brothers: Alvin, Raymond, Norman and Ronnie; Sister Lorraine Pace.
Linda will be greatly missed and will always have a special place in our hearts.
