Lilly was born on December 8, 1926 in Dah'nid'zil'gah, New Mexico and she passed away on September 3, 2010 in Crownpoint, New Mexico.

She is survived by her children: John N. Lewis, Jr. of Crownpoint, New Mexico, Anslem N. Lewis of Whiteriver, Arizona, Ambrose N. Lewis of Dalton Pass, New Mexico, Anthony N. Lewis of Crownpoint, New Mexico, Evelyn Mariano of Becenti, New Mexico; 26 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in Death by her husband: John Nelson Lewis, Sr.; Parents: Tony Frank Mariano and Mary Nelson; Children: Ernest N. Lewis and Nelson Lewis; Sister: Ruby Joe and Brother: Freddie Mariano, Sr.

Pallbeares will be: Kevin Joe, Kevin Lewis, Freddy Mariano, Jr., Tom Kee Joe, Jr., Eddie Gruber and Ambrose Lewis.
