Funeral Services for Lilley Smiley, 70, of Crownpoint, New Mexico will be held on Monday-August 11, 2008 at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Crownpoint, New Mexico. Pastor Carlos Baki will be the celebrant.
Lilley was born on October 13, 1937 in Crownpoint, New Mexico into the Water Flows Together People and for the Towering House People Clan and passed away on August 6, 2008 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was retired from the Gallup McKinley County Schools.
She is survived by her daughter: Doreen Baki and husband Pastor Carlos of Crownpoint, New Mexico; Brother: Raymond Charleston of Shiprock, New Mexico; Sister: Lucia Craig of Crownpoint, New Mexico; 33 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband Chee Yazzie; Parents: Paul Smiley and Elizabeth Gray; Son: Warren Smiley; Brothers: Levi Smiley and Joe Lee Smiley: Sister: Mattie Pino.
Pallbearers will be: Kyle Thompson, Kevin Thompson, Alexis Ellsworth, Lydon Ellsworth, Olin Willie, Rex Mendoza.
Honorary Pallbearers: Raymond Charleston, Alvin Pino, Pastor Carlos Baki, Delbert Thompson, Christoper Smiley, Arcenio Charleston.
