Lester Bennett

Services for Lester Don Bennett 53, of Gamerco, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-March 28, 2009-10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor James D. Bennett, Jr. will officiate.



Lester was born into the Water Edge People and for the Chiricahua-Apache Running into the Red Streak People November 24, 1955 in Crownpoint, New Mexico and he passed away on March 24, 2009 in Mariano Lake, New Mexico. He was employed at Chevron Mine as a Master Mechanic.



He is survived by his wife: Verdie Bennett of Gamerco, New Mexico; Sons: Kareem "Kory" Bennett of Gamerco, New Mexico, Kyerin "Sonny" Bennett of Gamerco, New Mexico; Daughters: Karmen "Kandi" Bennett of Gamerco, New Mexico and Karneel "Kiki" Bennett of Gamerco, New Mexico; Parents: James D. Bennett, Sr. and Marie E. Bennett of Mariano Lake, New Mexico; Brothers: Lennard A. Bennett of Fort Defiance, Arizona, Larry V. Bennett of Winnemucca, Nevada, Lambert J. Bennett of Farmington, New Mexico, James D. Bennett, Jr. of Ft. Defiance, Arizona; Sisters: Leatricia K. Cowboy of Thoreau, New Mexico, Lucinda A. Baloo of Chambers, Arizona, Lucretia K. Bennett of Mariano, Lake, New Mexico and Lydia M. Bennett of Mariano Lake, New Mexico.
