Funeral Services for Lela M. Brown 86, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-January 11, 2012-10:00 AM at the Central Baptist Church on Sage Ave. in Grants, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Lela was born on July 21, 1925 in Goff, Kansas and she passed away on January 8, 2012 in Grants, New Mexico. She and her husband owned a Salvage and Lumber Yard for many years.
She is survived by her Son: Grant Elliot Brown and wife Janet of Riverhead, New York; Daughters: AnnaBelle Manire of Grants, New Mexico, Linda Joe Tanton of Phoenix, Arizona, Sue Savedra and husband Butch of Edgewood, New Mexico, Mary Kay Pritzl and husband Joe of Phoenix, Arizona and Joyce Burrows and husband Bobby of Phoenix, Arizona; Brother: Forest Perry of Wichita, Kansas; 19 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Robert "Bob" Brown; Parents: Charles and Mary Perry; Sons: David Lee Brown and Billy Hugh Perry; Daughter: Roberta Lee Coleman.
Pallbearers will be: Blue Manire, Grant Brown, Butch Savedra, Frank Hilliard, Warren Haviland and Bobby Burrows.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Tommy Trujillo, Jackie Reeves and Fred Rodarte.
