Funeral Services for Lawrence R. Riley, 89, of Acomita, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-February 28, 2006-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Mr. Riley was born on December 4, 1916 in Old Laguna, New Mexico and passed away on February 25, 2006 in Acomita, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the US Army serving in World War II.
He is survived by his children: Katherine Upshaw of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kurt Riley of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Charles Riley of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lawrence Riley, Jr. of Acomita, New Mexico, Yvonne Pino of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Noreen Valdez of Acomita, New Mexico and Carleen Fernando of Mesita, New Mexico; Sister: Felecita Riley of Old Laguna, New Mexico; 21 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Ruth Dixon Riley; Parents: Felipe Riley and Katherine Pacheco Riley; Sisters: Lettie Riley, Grace Riley, Susy Kie and Edna Riley; Brothers: Roy Riley, Frank Riley and Chris Riley.
