Laura Roxann Bowerbank-Baca died unexpectedly in Presbyterian Rust Medical Center on December 14, 2017 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico at the age of 64.
Laura was born on July 4, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Blaine Tatum Bowerbank and Florence Jacqueline Waddell.
Laura was the beloved wife of Rudy Baca. Laura moved to San Mateo, NM in 1994 and loved spending time with her family. She is remembered for her kind heart, her happy smile and the love she shared with everyone she met.
Laura was a homemaker who raised four children: Christina Morgan, Claudio Baca, Delilah Baca and Damien Baca. She was the loving sister to Jack Murphy (Karen Murphy), Jean Gustafson, Peggie Jo Laevano, Jackie Gudaitis (deceased), Kathy Goode (Jim Goode), Shirley Russell (Tom Russell), Wendy Bowen (Ron Bowen), Billy Murphy (deceased), Cheryl Love (Kelly Love) and her in-laws Ellen Saveadra, Mary Baca, Christine Krier and David Baca. She is preceded in death by her parents and two siblings.
Laura was a playful and loving grandmother who adored her twenty grandchildren: Shawnda Watson, Samantha Morgan, Jerry Morgan Jr., Anthony Dawson, David Morgan, Jacen Morgan, Josh Morgan, Makyla Morgan, Alicia Haughton, Yasenya Valencia, Rudy Valencia, Jazmine Valencia, Jayda Valencia, Dallas Baca, Israel Baca, Claudio Baca Jr, Dante Baca, Florintina Saindon-Baca, Lolita Saindon-Baca, Jazlyn Baca. Five great grandchildren (Zaydee, Isabelle, Evelyn, Sean and Arthur) and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Parents: Blane Tatum Bowerbank and Florence Waddell Murphy; Brother: William Murphy; Sister: Jackie Gudaitis.
