Services for Laura Mae Barnes 83, of Los Lunas, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-March 24, 2010-10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Pastor Franklin Williams will officiate. Burial will be held in El Morro Cemetery, El Morro, New Mexico.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday-March 24, 2010-9:00 AM-10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary.
Laura was born on July 20, 1926 in Jayton, Texas and she passed away on March 20, 2010 in Los Lunas, New Mexico.
She is survived by her children: Eddie and wife Gale, Caryl and husband Calvin, Trudy and husband Bruce, Raymond and wife Debbie, Becky and husband Perri; 15 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Mabon Barnes and Son: David Barnes.
Pallbearers will be: Teddy Yates, Patrick Barnes, Cory Brazell, Brian Barnes, Brian Rasmussen and Todd Lovette.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: David Barnes, Dustin Mitchell, Trent Spencer and Robert Polk.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
