Services for Larry J. Sampson, 67 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Monday-November 10, 2008-11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Grants, New Mexico.
Burial will be held on Tuesday-November 11, 2008-2:00 PM with full military honors by the VFW Lodge 3221 will be at the Grants Memorial Park. Bishop Walter Grinner will officiate.
Visitation will be held Monday-November 10, 2008-10:00-11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Mr. Sampson was born on July 19, 1941 in Delta, Utah and passed away on November 5, 2008 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the US Airforce serving in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife: Maria Kay Sampson of Grants, New Mexico; Children: Susan Thornburh of Elko, Nevada, Kami Kelly of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Leonard Shelton of Edgewood, New Mexico, Sherri Shelton of Edgewood, New Mexico, Gary Brown of Elko, Nevada, Ronny Sampson of Oregon, Kathy Brown of Twin Falls, Idaho; Brothers: Fawn Karl Sampson of Delta, Utah, Garry Sampson of Lehi, Utah, Robert Niel Sampson of Las Vegas, Nevada; Sisters: Ila Webb of Delta, Utah, Alice Hicks of Grants, New Mexico and Kay Waxler of Bluewater, New Mexico; 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Fern McCullough Sampson and Wesley Sampson.
