Burial will be held on Thursday-July 30, 2008-1:00 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Mrs. Mestas was born on June 21, 1923 in Gallup, New Mexico and passed away on July 24, 2008 in San Rafael, New Mexico.
She is survived by her children: Rosemary Trujillo and husband Sam of San Rafael, New Mexico and Jessie Mestas and wife Marietta of Los Lunas, New Mexico; 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Julian Mestas; Parents: Florio Vigil and Dominica Sanchez Vigil.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Frankie Nuanez, Julian Mestas, Billy Silva, Richard Vigil, Sammy Gomez, Sam Trujillo.
