June Young

Services for June Star Young, 95, will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1010 Bondad Ave., Grants, N.M., on Friday, March 16, 2012.



The viewing will be held from 9-9:45 a.m. and services will follow at 10 a.m. Internment will follow the church service at the Bluewater Pioneer Memorial Cemetery, Bluewater, N.M.



She was born on June 28, 1916, to her parents Arthur and Katy Starr in San Simon, Cochise County, Ariz., and passed away on March 10, 2012, in Bluewater.



She married E. Clifford Young on April 21, 1936. They lived a number of years in Chinle, Ariz., and then moved to the Bluewater area in 1945. June was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.



She is survived by her daughter Sherrill Aries and husband Richard, Bluewater, brother Karl Eugene Starr, and grandchildren: Richelle Windhorst and husband Scott, Milan, N.M., Yvonne Griffiths and husband Randy, Fredonia, Ariz., O'Lynn McCracken and husband Abdul Husrieh, Parker, Texas, Ivan McCracken and wife Lori, Burley, Idaho, Bliss Easton and husband Troy, Allen, Texas, Samuel Edward McCracken and wife Erin, Anthen, Ariz., Cheranne Kuizerge and husband Joel, Albuquerque, N.M., DeeAnn Lewis and husband Jodie, Albuquerque, R. Shaun Aries and wife Natalie, Albuquerque, Aaron McCracken and wife J'Lene, Manhattan, Kan., Janice Aries, Bluewater, and Eden McCracken, Laguna Beach, Calif. June was preceded in death by her husband E. Clifford Young, daughter Marilyn McCracken, sisters Irene and Nelly, brother Arthur Starr and grandchildren Gaylyn Aries, Amber and Andrew; Foster Children: Selena Jewett and husband David of Payson, Arizona, Gladys Brown and husband Ken of White River, Arizona and Sara Lewis of Mariano Lake, New Mexico.



Pallbearers will be: Braydon McCracken, Drew Grissiths, Jaden Grissiths, Shane Grissiths, Ty Grissiths, Dathan Spencer, Bevin Spencer, Trevor Windhorst, Adam Windhorst, Tanner Windhorst and Jared Windhorst.
