Rosary & Funeral Mass for Julia S. Montoya, 82, of Gallup, New Mexico will be held on Monday-October 3, 2005-10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Father Jerry will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.



Visitation will be held on Monday-October 3, 2005-9:00 AM-10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.



Julia was born on February 25, 1923 in Anton Chico, Colorado and passed away on September 27, 2005 in Gallup, New Mexico. She retired from the BIA as Payroll Clerk.



She is survived by her Children: Ted Montoya of Gallup, New Mexico, Evelyn Martinez of Gallup, New Mexico, Yvonne Gallegos of Gallup, New Mexico, Yolanda Salcido of Gallup, New Mexico; Brother: Emo Suzuki of Gallup, New Mexico; Sisters: Rose Mary Luna of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mary Lou Aguliar of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Betty Lou Sandoval of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 15 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren.



She is preceded in death by her husband Leopoldo Montoya; Parents: Koskie J. Suzuki and Josephine Ross Suzuki; Son: Leopoldo Montoya, Jr.; Great Grandson: Daniel Gracia, Teddy Montoya, Jr., Carlos and Michael Martinez; Granddaughter: Monica Montoya-Stewart.



Pallbearers will be: Alex Salcido, Jr., Robert Gallegos, Jr., Randy Montoya, Joe Martinez, Marcus Lovato, and A. J. Smith.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Rick Luna, Ryan Luna, Robert Luna, Paul Eli Lovato, Emo Suzuki, Jr., and Simon Suzuki.
