Funeral Services for Juanita A. Shorty 82, of Becenti, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-June 16, 2010-10:00 AM at Crownpoint, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Crownpoint Community Cemetery.
Juanita was born on June 4, 1928 in Borrego Pass, New Mexico and she passed away on June 11, 2010 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She is survived by her daughters: Shirley Lee of Crownpoint, New Mexico, Lorraine Valenski of Waterflow, New Mexico, Irma Shorty of Crownpoint, New Mexico, Anna Willie of Crownpoint, New Mexico, Kathleen Lee of Becenti, New Mexico, Lula Shorty of Becenit, New Mexico and Shirleen Belen of Becenti, New Mexico; Son: John L. Shorty of Black Mesa, Arizona; 22 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Tom Shorty; Parents: Jose Antone and Glenabah Antone.
Pallbearers will be: Brian A. Lee, Russell Valanski, Gerald Bebo, Matthew Belen, Marco Lee and Evans Manning.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jeremiah Bebo, George A. Lee, Henry Valanskie, Earl Lee, Lansen Belen, Sr., Ervin Gruber and Eloyd Gruber.
