Funeral Rosary and Mass for Juan Albino Visarraga 82 of Grants, best known as John will be held on Wednesday-May 16, 2012-9:30 AM at St Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial with Full military Honors by the VFW Lodge 3221 at Grants Memorial Park.
John was born on May 29, 1929 in Penasco, New Mexico and he passed away on May 14, 2012 after a long illness.
He retired from United Nuclear Mines where he worked for 30 years and 10 years at Western Prison, served in the US Army from 1950-1952. He was well known and loved by all of his in-laws, family and friends. He dedicated his life to St. Teresa Catholic Church as an Usher every Sunday and was very active with the Ultreya, Curcillo and playing the guitar at Los Posadas. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was an example to al that knew him and loved him. John is Home now with Our Lord Jesus, and will truly be missed.
He is survived by his wife: Cornina of Grants, New Mexico, they lived a beautiful Life for 17 years; Brother; Tony Visarraga and wife Lucia and several nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Abel and Senaida Visarraga; Brothers; George and Abreliano "Abe" Visarraga.
Pallbearers will be: Johnny Visarraga, Edward Visarraga, Eugene Visarraga, Reyes Visarraga, Michael Visarraga and Alonso Visarraga.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Nick Olivas, Long Time Friend and Brother-in-law
