Josie Garcia Ellis

Josie Ellis 91 went home to be with the Lord on October 15, 2024. Born on April 19, 1933. Josie lived a full life, touching the lives of many others along the way. When Josie was a little girl, she must have felt her calling. She dedicated her life in caring for others. Josie was a nursing assistant for 36 years at Cibola General Hospital and five years at Good Samaritan. Her hobbies were dancing, sewing, crocheting, and camping. 

She is survived by her sister Domie Rivera, as well as her daughters Yolanda Cordova (husband Leonard Cordova), Mary Alice Beasley (husband Brett Beasley). She is also survived by her grandchildren Joseph Beauregard, Anthony Cordova, Michael Cordova, Brandi Marez, and Mandy Marez. Her survivors also include 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Josie is preceded in death by her son (Abel) Rick Marez. Husband Johnny Ellis. Her mother Premia Garcia. Father Jose S. Garcia. Brothers Sammy Garcia and Robert Garcia. Sisters Lita Delgado and Nora Kuramoto. 

To know Josie was to love her. She will never be forgotten. She is dancing in heaven.
