Funeral Mass for Josie B. Chavez, 51, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-May 16, 2007-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Father Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant.



A Rosary will be held on Tuesday-May 15, 2007-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.



Josie was born on October 25, 1955 in Grants, New Mexico and passed away on May 12, 2007 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.



She is survived by her husband: Albert R. Chavez of Grants, New Mexico; Mother: Ethel Sandoval of San Mateo, New Mexico; Children: Toby & wife Bernadette Martinez of Grants, New Mexico, Moises & wife Esther Martinez of Grants, New Mexico; Stepchildren: Amy & husband Ted Gonzales of Smith Lake, New Mexico,a nd Albert Chavez, Jr. of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Sifredo & wife Eileen of San Mateo, New Mexico, Leo & wife Millie Sandoval of San Mateo, New Mexico, Johnny & wife Patsy Sandoval of San Mateo, New Mexico; Sisters: Lucia & husband Ted Martinez of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Sandra & husband Adrian Pino of Los Chavez, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Ashley Rivera of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Christina Dominguez of Smith Lake, New Mexico, Desiree Martinez of Grants, New Mexico, Devin Martinez of Grants, New Mexico, Gabriel Chacon of Grants, New Mexico, Justina Chacon of Grants, New Mexico, Casandra Martinez of Grants, New Mexico, Johnathan Ulibarri of Grants, New Mexico, Erick Martinez of Grants, New Mexico, Alex Martinez of Grants, New Mexico, Tia Gonzales of Smith Lake, New Mexico, Mackayla Rael of Grants, New Mexico, Trinidi Saavedra of Grants, New Mexico and Justin Rael of Grants, New Mexico.
