Funeral Mass for Josephine V. Martinez 64, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Monday-May 18, 2009-2:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will be held at a later date.

A rosary will be held on Sunday-May 17, 2009-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.

Josephine was born on August 7, 1944 in Nambe, New Mexico and she passed away on May 14, 2009 in Gallup, New Mexico.

She is survived by her companion: Eugene Gurule of Grants, New Mexico; Sons: Ramon Martinez, New Mexico and Denny Martinez and wife Rachel of Grants, New Mexico; Sister: Petita Romero of Nambe, New Mexico; Brothers: Joe Vigil of Nambe, New Mexico and Tranquilion Vigil of Nambe, New Mexico; and 6 Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Ramon Vigil and Francis Vigil; Husband: Dennis L. Martinez; Brothers: Juan Vigil and Victoriano Vigil.

Pallbearers will be:Dominic Vigil, Dickie Sandoval, Jose Granadino, Orlando Cordova, Leo Casaus, Roel Martinez.
