Funeral Mass for Jose Frank Montoya 73, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-September 22, 2011-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will be held at a later date.
A Rosary will be held on Wednesday-September 21, 2011-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Mr Montoya was born on March 12, 1938 in Truchas, New Mexico and he passed away on September 18, 2011 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a Uranium Miner and retired from the Power Plant. He was a Veteran of the US Army.
Jose is survived by his loving wife: Beverly Trujillo Montoya of Grants, New Mexico; Son: Joseph "Bojo" Montoya and wife April of Grants, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Alyssa Montoya, Mckayla Montoya and Bo Montoya all of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Danny Montoya of Albuquerque, New Mexico and J.D. Montoya of Trona, California; Sisters: Dora Montoya, Ida Waitman and Lupe Sowers all of Wheatland, Wyoming.
He is preceded in death by his Parents: Henry and Josephita Montoya and a Sister: Sally Martinez.
Pallbearers will be: Charlie Chavez, Lawrence Gurule, Gilbert Montoya, Frank Montoya, Matthew Vigil and Rocky Montoya.
