Memorial Services for John Walter Van Sickle 80, of Thoreau, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-January 17, 2009-2:00 PM at the New Life Ministries in Bluewater Acres, New Mexico. Followed by a potluck dinner at New Life Ministries.
Mr. Van Sickle was born on September 8, 1928 in Rushville, Indiana and passed away at his home in Thoreau, New Mexico on January 9, 2009. He graduated from Rushville Heigh School in 1947 and taught school untill he retired and moved to New Mexico.
He is survived by his niece; Alice Kay Hedrick of Rushville, Indiana and his care taker: Earl Roy Wagner and wife: Audrianna of Thoreau, New Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Omer E. Van Sickle and Mertie Alice Van Sickle
