John Medina

Services for John "Juan" V. Medina, 74, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-July 19, 2007-11:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Elder Reyes Romero, Jr. will be the Celebrant.



Visitation will be held on Wednesday-July 18, 2007-4:00 PM-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.



Mr. Medina was born on July 18, 1932 in Llano, New Mexico and passed away on July 13, 2007 in Grants, New Mexico.



Mr. Medina is survived by his Sons: Randy Medina of Grants, New Mexico, Abe Medina and wife Christina Chino of Grants, New Mexico and Michael Medina of Grants, New Mexico; Daughters: Lorraine Lucero and husband Lawrence of Grants, New Mexico, Yolanda Zamora and husband Leonard of Grants, New Mexico, LouAnn Montano and husband Sikey of Grants, New Mexico, Bonnie Medina of Grants, New Mexico; Brother: Manuel Medina of Midvale, Utah; Grandchildren: Cindy Medina of Grants, New Mexico, Melissa Lopez and husband Anthony of Grants, New Mexico, Jonathan Rodarte Medina of Grants, New Mexico; Great Grandchildren: Shania McQuerry of Grants, New Mexico and Erika Medina of Grants, New Mexico and his companion and friend "Tootsie"



He is preceded in death by his wife: Irene Gurule Medina; Parents: Abel Medina and Josephine Tafoya Medina; son: David Arthur Medina; Sisters: Annie Sanchez, Mary Garcia, Laura Vigil, Emma Valdez.



Pallbearers will be: Anthony Lopez, Jonathan Rodarte, David Sheppard, Leonard Zamora, Orlando Chavez, Arturo Mondragon, Victorino Rodriguez, and Leo Casaus.
