Funeral Services for John V. Farley, 88, of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-September 22, 2005-10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Grants. Pastor Hugh Rogers will officiate. Burial will take place on Monday-September 26, 2005-1:00 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Mr. Farley was born August 16, 1917 in West Virginia and passed away on September 19, 2005 in the Milan, New Mexico. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the US Army.
He is survived by his wife: Cecilia Martinez Farley of the Family home in Pleasant Valley, (Milan Area), New Mexico, Daughter Rita Jones of West Virginia; Sister: Betty Ettes of West Virginia; Brothers: Cloney Farley, Teddy Farley, and Tom Farley all of West Virginia; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Levi and Ethel Farley; Sister: Nellie Farley, Brothers: Bobby Joe Farley, Emerson Farley, Edward Farley and Frank Farley.
