Memorial Rosary and Funeral Mass for Joel J. Torrez 52, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-November 2, 2016-9:30 AM San Rafael Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Rafael Community Cemetery. Fr. Robert Matthew will officiate.



Joel was born on October 10, 1964 in Grants, New Mexico and he passed away on October 25, 2016 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the US Armed Forces.



He is survived by his Daughter: Jolen Martinez and husband Dustin of Las Cruces, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Ryan Martinez and Jude Martinez both of Las Cruces, New Mexico; Brothers: James Torrez and wife Josephine of Grants, New Mexico, Juan Torrez and wife Jessica of Grants, New Mexico, Jackie Torrez of San Rafael, New Mexico, Jessie Torrez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Alejandro Torrez of San Rafael, New Mexico; Sisters: Pauline Chavez and husband Antony of San Rafael, New Mexico, Rebecca Cardenas and husband Antonio of Bento, Arkansas, Margaret Chavez and husband Orlando of Grants, New Mexico, Veronica Torrez-Montano and husband Raymond of San Rafael, New Mexico, Nadine Rodriguez and husband Roger of Milan, New Mexico, Catherine Erives and husband Melchor of Grants, New Mexico and Alexandria Veloz and husband Edwardo of Goodyear, Arizona.



He is preceded in death by his Parents: Andres A. Torrez and Magdalena Montoya Torrez; Niece: Yvonne Chavez.
