Funeral Services for Jimmy Paul Baca 60, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-May 17, 2012-10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church on Mountain Road in Grants, New Mexico. Burial will be held on Monday-May 21, 2012-1:30 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Jimmy was born on September 20, 1951 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and he passed away on May 10, 2012 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He Graduated from Grants High School in 1970 and served in the US Navy. From 1974-1978 he worked for Elkins Turquoise and Jewelry, 1978-1979 at Grinoni Electric-Sub Contractors for Gulf Mine, 1979-1985 Running Bear Indian Jewelry in Gallup, NM, 1986-1991 Cibola County Sheriff's Department, 1997-2001 Running Bear Trading Post in Thoreau, NM, 2001-2006 Western Elite Security and Transport, Santa Fe, NM, 2006-2008 KGL and Associates, Reclamation Project at Kerr-McGee Mill, 2008-2011 as Cibola County Probate Judge, 2006-2008 Truck Driver and from 2010 to present at Tri-State Homeland Security Officer for Wackenhut Corporation.
He is survived by his Fiance: Joan Gilmore of Grants, New Mexico; Sister: Alice Baumann of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Gerald Baca and wife Majella of Ramah, New Mexico area, Billy Baca and wife Lauren of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Rosalio Baca, Jr. of Belen, New Mexico, Damien Baca of Grants, New Mexico; Nieces: Andrea Baca of Dallas, Texas, Karri Baca of Dallas, Texas, Shannon Baca of Grants, New Mexico, Ilsa Baca of England, Melanie Baca of Albuquerque, New Mexico, April Baca of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Erica Baca of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Nephews: Derick Baca of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Roman Baca of Corpus Christi, Texas, Joshua Baca of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Sergio Baca of Fort Worth, Texas, Dion Baca of Grants, New Mexico and Ezekiel Baca of Grants, New Mexico.
He is preceded in Death by his parents: Rosalio Baca and Rumalida Romero Baca.
