Jimmy Allen

Celebration of Life Services for Jimmy Ray Allen, 69 of Thoreau, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-May 27, 2009-2:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will be held Thursday-May 28, 2009-1:30 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.



Visitation will be held on Wednesday-May 27, 2009-12:00-1:30 PM at Compassion Mortuary.



Jimmy was born on January 5, 1940 in Hagerman, New Mexico and he passed away suddenly on May 22, 2009 in Thoreau, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the US Marines and retired as a Uranium Miner.



He is survived by his wife: Charlene Blakely Allen of Thoreau, New Mexico; Children: Tammy Elkins and husband Bimbo of Thoreau, New Mexico, Tina Williams and husband Willy of Farmington, New Mexico, Terri Foster of Bluewater Lake, New Mexico, Treva Cowick of Farmington, New Mexico, Thomas Wade Allen of Bluewater Lake, New Mexico, JoLane Nichols and husband John of Ash Fork, Arizona, Sarah Raelynne Randolph of Gallup, New Mexico, Jeannette Allen of Laguna Beach, California; Brother: Jerry Mac Allen of Florence, Arizona; Sister: Joyce Loretta Parker of Deming, New Mexico; 15 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his parents: Thomas S. Allen and Annie Ruth Bullock Allen and a Sister: Janet Dorothy Allen.



Pallbearers will be:Cody Elkins, Dustin Elkins, Michael Cowick, Martin Cowick, Joshua Randolph,and Johnny Nichols.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Scott Allen, Scotty Baker, and Jimmy Owens
