Services for Jennifer Kay Black, 58 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-April 15, 2017-4:00 PM at 1209 Clovis Ave. Grants, New Mexico with a reception to follow.
She was born on December 6, 1958 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and passed away on April 6, 2017 in Grants, New Mexico.
Jennifer grew up on a ranch where she learned how work hard and discovered how much she loved animals especially horses.
She graduated high school in Farmington, New Mexico and went on to receive her Bachelors Degree in Agriculture from Western Michigan University.
She had a passion for hunting, camping fishing and just going to the mountains.
She also lived for Fantasy Football and Fantasy NASCAR, very competitive! Big 49er fan!
She was the most kind hearted generous and hard working person I've ever known. She was a very intelligent and athletic. She was a US Champion Weightlifter. She will be Truly missed love you "Big Sister"
She worked for years on our Fathers farm. Then went on to work as a journey level person in the carpenters Union in Arizona and New Mexico. She also worked in produce at Walmart and Smiths. She also worked for CCS and BIO Pappel International as a warehouse person. In young Adulthood she traveled to Paris, Belize and Hawaii.
As she is survived by her Brother: Chock Black and wife Patricia of Grants, Her nephews Matthew Black and Nicholas Black and her partner Jesse Black of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her Parents: Jimmy Black and Marilyn Kieth Black; Grandparents: Billie and Gene Keith and Jim Black and Ruby Lee Harris; Nephew: Michael Black.
