Funeral Services for James Nakai Yazzie, Sr. 57, of Prewitt, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-June 15, 2013-11:00 AM at the Thoreau Church of God. Burial will follow on Family Land in Prewitt, New Mexico. Pastor Florence Barker and Bishop Ray Barker will officiate.

James was born on March 3, 1957 in Carson, New Mexico and he passed away on June 10, 2013 in Grants, New Mexico.

He is survived by his loving wife: Rita Curley Yazzie of Prewitt, New Mexico; Children: James Nakai Yazzie, Jr. of Prewitt, New Mexico, Pearla Yazzie of Prewitt, New Mexico, Ravita Barney of Milan, New Mexico, Jamie Yazziee of Milan, New Mexico, Jennifer Tso of Farmington, New Mexico, Juanita Yazzie of Bloomfield, New Mexico and Jospehine Davis of Bloomfield, New Mexico; Sister: Jeanette Chee of Carson, New Mexico; 10 Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Jimmy Nakai Yazzie and Laura Mae Armenta Yazzie.

Pallbearers will be: Matthew Curley, Jimmy Johnson, Jonathan Antonio, William Barney, Christopher Yazzie, James N. Yazzie, Jr. Fraizer Kee, Jason Delgarito

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Elsie Johnson, Maxine Napie, Marie Curley, Nelson Curley, Jeanette Chief
