Funeral Services for James Platero, Jr. 34 of Prewitt, New Mexico will be held on Friday-January 7, 2011-10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary in Grants. Burial will follow on Private family land at Casamero Lake, New Mexico. Pastor Edward King will officiate.
James was born on September 20, 1976 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and he passed away on December 29, 2010 in Tucson, Arizona. He was raised by his Aunt Benita Delgarito and the late Clark Delgarito.
He is survived by his Sister: Elfreda Manuelito of Crownpoint, New Mexico; Son: Jameson Platero of Bluewater, New Mexico; Aunts: Benita Delgarito and Juanita Martinez both of Prewitt, New Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his parents: James Platero, Sr. and Alice Delgarito; Brother: Jerry Delgarito and Uncle: Clark Delgarito.
Pallbearers will be: Tillman Delgarito, Shane Smith, Stevie Smith, Justin Sardo, Peterson Martinez, Jr. and Jeffery Delgarito.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jameson Platero, Jasper Cook, Patrick Cook, Rydell Jake, Elvis Delgarito and Ernest Manuelito
