Funeral Mass for James S.Garcia, 90, of Pueblo of Acoma, New Mexico will be held on Monday-January 14, 2008-10:00 AM at Santa Maria Catholic Church in McCartys, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Mt. of Peace Cemetery in McCartys, New Mexico.
A rosary and traditional wake will be held at the family Home, House #4, McCartys Exit, I40 North on Sunday-January 13, 2008-7:00 PM.
Mr. Garcia was born on March 3, 1917 in McCartys, New Mexico and passed way on January 11, 2008 in Laguna, New Mexico. He was a retired bus driver for the Acoma Schools and was a veteran of the US Military.
He is survived by his wife: Margaret C. Garcia of McCartys, New Mexico; Children: Sylvia J. Goodman of McCartys, New Mexico, Connie Z. Garcia of Albuquerque,New Mexico, Orval Garcia of Santa Clara, New Mexico, Bridget Morris of Albuqueruqe, New Mexico, Melanie Garcia of McCartys, New Mexico; Brothers: David Garcia and Raymond Garcia both of Acomita, New Mexico and a Sister: Jessie Louis of Anzac, New Mexico; 20 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Jose Garcia and Juana Garcia: Children: Christopher J. Garcia and Glenda Joyce Garcia; Brothers: Henry Garcia, Thomas Garcia, Jerry Garcia and Roy Garcia and Sister: Margaret Seymour.
