Memorial Services for James H. Edwards 71, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-March 7, 2009-5:00 PM at Immanuel Baptist Church. Pastor Garland Moore will be the celebrant. A reception will be held at 820 Lobo Canyon Road after the service.
Mr. Edwards was born on March 14, 1937 in Greenbrier, Arkansas and he passed away on March 2, 2009 in Grants, New Mexico.
He was a veteran of the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife: Carlene Edwards of Grants, New Mexico; Children: Tracy Murrietta and husband Steve of Grants, New Mexico, Jackie Johnson of Milan, New Mexico, Nicole Gaddy and husband James of Grants, New Mexico, James Edwards, Jr., of Grants, New Mexico; Sister: Geraldine Nichols of Livermore, California; 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Otis Edwards and Ruby Edwards.
