Services for James A. Amos, Sr., 60, of McCarty, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-June 21, 2008-10:00 AM at St. Annes Catholic Church in Acomita, New Mexico.
A traditional wake will be held on Friday-6:00 PM at the family home in McCarty.
Mr. Amos passed away on June 17, 2008 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a veteran of the US Marines.
He is survived by his wife: Louise Amos of McCarty, New Mexico; Children: Ronald Abeita of Albuquerque, New Mexico, James Amos, Jr. of Wyoming, Ronald Abeita, Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Demetra Abeita of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Brothers: Emmett Amos and Harold Amos os South Dakota; Sisters: Lydia Amos of South Dakota, Zella Amos of Michigan, Olive Forsing of Florida, Beverly Amos of Iowa and Mary Amos of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 10 Grandchildren and one great Grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Gabriel Amos and Naomi Small Amos.
