Funeral Services for Jackson Perry 73, of Crownpoint, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-August 29, 2009-11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints, Crownpoint Ward, Crownpoint, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Crownpoint Community Cemetery.
Mr. Perry was born on March 7, 1936 in Crownpoint, New Mexico and he passed away on August 25, 2009 in Crownpoint, New Mexico. He was retired from the Navajo Nation Presidents Office where he served as the Administrative Assistant to President Peterson Zah. His father the late John Perry, Sr. was the Navajo Nation Council Delegate from Crownpoint Agency.
He is survived by his children: Michael Perry of Kayenta, Arizona, Melinda Perry of Kayenta, Arizona, Matilda Perry of Vancouver, Washington; Sisters: Mae Billie of Crownpoint, New Mexico, Christine Perry of Crownpoint, New Mexico, Fannie Joe of Crownpoint, New Mexico; Brothers: Ben Perry of Crownpoint, New Mexico, Lincoln Perry, Sr. of Crownpoint, New Mexico and John Perry, Jr. of Crownpoint, New Mexico; 11 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents: John Perry, Sr. and Alice Casamero Perry; Daughter: Marlinda Perry; Sisters: Evelyn Wood and Evangeline Begay; Brothers: Wilson Perry and Andrew Perry.
Pallbearers will be:Ronnie Henio, Robert Henio, Jr., Irwin Smith, Gerry Music, Jeremy Francisco and Leonard Perry.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Norman Becenti, Michael Perry and John Perry, Jr..
