He is survived by his Son: Tyler Yates of Florida; Mother: Charlotte Alderman Russell and Step-Father: Carl Russell of Bluewater, New Mexico; Sister: Dona Roberts and husband Roby of San Rafael, New Mexico; Nephews: Drew Esquibel of Penasco, New Mexico, Roby Roberts and wife Margie of Grants, New Mexico, Christopher Roberts of Grants, New Mexico and Alex Roberts of Grants, New Mexico; Great Niece and Nephew: Roby and Rhiley Roberts of Grants, New Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his Father: Thomas L. Yates: Sisters: Robin Renee Gallegos and Kimberly Yates.
