Ida Gonzales-Ortiz

Memorial Rosary and Mass for Ida Gonzales-Ortiz 82, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Friday-September 28, 2012-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Private burial will be held at a later date in Pecos, New Mexico.



Visitation will be held on Tuesday-September 25, 2012 from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.



Ida was born on May 5, 1930 in Pecos, New Mexico to Emiterio and Apolonia Sandoval and she passed away on September 20, 2012 in Grants, New Mexico.



She was a Home Maker and gardner, She loved to embroder and make quilts. She loved her family very much.



Ida is survived by her husband: Manuel Ortiz, Jr. of Grants, New Mexico; Sons: John Ortiz of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Levi Ortiz and wife Christy of Grants, New Mexico, Kelly Ortiz of Grants, New Mexico; Daughters: Veronica Gallegos and husband Ted of Grants, New Mexico, Sandra Gonzales of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lisa Gonzales of Grants, New Mexico; Sister: Rosarito Quintana of Grants, New Mexico; 2 Granddaughters: Michaelle Gallegos of Grants, New Mexico and Sofia Gallegos and companion Dominic Vigil of Albuquerque, New Mexico and 2 Great Granddaughters: Angelica Vigil of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Adrienne Ortiz of Grants, New Mexico.



She is preceded in death by her Parents: Emiterio Sandoval and Apolina Roybal Sandoval; Brother: Jose Sandoval and Sister: Gregoria Sandoval; Nephew: Orlando Sandoval and Niece: Erlinda Quintana.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Estovan Quintana, Tedd Gallegos, Tino Quintana, Toby Quintana and Paul Salazar.
