I. South

Funeral Services for I.W. "Bud" South, 88, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-September 10, 2005-10:00 AM at the Grace Baptist Church in Milan, New Mexico. Pastor Dale Thatcher will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park with the New Mexico State Police Honor Guard.



Visitation will be held on Friday-September 9, 2005-4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church in Milan, New Mexico.



Mr. South was born on March 24, 1917 in Newport, Texas and passed away on September 7, 2005 at his home in Grants, New Mexico. He was retired from the New Mexico State Police with the rank of Sargent and then retired from the Mines in Grants.



He is survived by his Son: Kit K. South of Grants, New Mexico; Daughter: Glenda and Husband Mel Simpson of Grants, New Mexico; Grnadchildren: Robbin and Husband Gilbert Eaves of Milan, New Mexico, Jeffery and Wife Janaice Simpson of Grants, New Mexico, Tarra Jaramillo of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Koby South of Grants, New Mexico; Great Grandchildren: Brooke Eaves of Milan, New Mexico, Kasey Eaves of Milan, New Mexico, Bailey Jaramillo of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Breanna Jaramillo of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Wyatt Simpson of Grants, New Mexico and Kristina Simpson of Grants, New Mexico.



He was preceded in death by his wife: Carrie V. South; Sons: Larry and Coy South; Parents: Albert and South; Brothers: Clarence O. Oldfield, and Preston South.
