Hope Lopez

Funeral Mass for Hope Lopez 77, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Monday-March 22, 2010-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant.



A rosary will be held on Sunday-March 21, 2010-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.



Hope was born on August 5, 1932 in Bingham Canyon, Utah and she passed away on March 17, 2010 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.



She is survived by her husband: Alfonso Lopez of Grants, New Mexico; Children: Alfonso Lopez, Jr. and wife Lorena Cervantes of Mission, Texas, Raul Lopez of Grants, New Mexico, Anthony Lopez and wife Melissa of Grants, New Mexico, Rose Romero of Fort Worth, Texas, Victoria Cervantes and husband Mark of Fort Worth, Texas, Teresa Masters of Grants, New Mexico, Veronica McDermott and husband Scott of Grants, New Mexico; Sister: Marie Ramirez of Los Angeles, California; Brothers: Filomeno Ochoa, Jr. of Murray, Utah, Guadalupe Gomez of Denver, Colorado and Antonio Gomez of Salt Lake City, Utah; 12 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren.



She is preceded in death by her parents: Filomeno Ochoa, Sr. and Modesta Ochoa; Brothers: Remigo Gomez; Sisters: Alicia "Alice" Ochoa-Kading, Juanita "Jenny" Ochoa, Rosario Fullmer, Ortencia Duran, Maria Elena Ochoa and Azuzana Gomez.



Pallbeares will be: Christopher Romero, Scott McDermott, Martin Lopez, Augustine Lopez, R.J. Lopez and Orlando Cordova.



Honorary Pallbearer will be: John Gonzales.
