Funeral Services for Helena Joyce Bitsilly 72 of Tohatchi, New Mexico will be held on Friday-August 5, 2011-10:00 AM at the Tohatchi Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow at the Family Cemetery in Navajo, New Mexico. Pastor Jerry Eastridge will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Friday-August 5, 2011-9:00 AM-10:00 AM at the Tohatchi Petecostal Church.
Helena was born on September 17, 1938 in Rehoboth, New Mexico and she passed away on July 31, 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was retired form the BIA as a Dorm Aide. Helena was a active member of the Tohatchi Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her loving husband: Nelson Bitsilly of Tohatchi, New Mexico; Children: Marvin Bitsilly and wife Mabel of Gallup, New Mexico, Lee A. Bitsilly of Tohatchi, New Mexico, Gernard Bitsilly of Phoenix, Arizona, Darrell Bitsilly and wife Miranda of Tohatchi, New Mexico, Marinsek Bitsilly and wife Celeste of Gallup, New Mexico, and Trisha Moore and husband Patrick of Mexican Springs, New Mexico; Sister: Mary Ann Begay of Gallup, New Mexico; 16 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son: Melvin Lester Bitsilly; Parents: Barney Begay and Evelyn Manuelito Begay; Grandchildren: Natasha Amber Moore and Isaiah Lee Bitsilly.
Pallbearers will be: Todd Bitsilly,Michael Buntenbach, Marvin Bitsilly, Jr., Darryl Cheschilly, Dustin Wilson, David Eastridge, Nelson Carl Bitsilly and Roger Begay.
