Graveside Services for Harry Yazzie 83 of Prewitt, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-January 14, 2010-10:00 AM at Smith Lake Community Cemetery, Smith Lake, New Mexico. Pastor Edward King will officiate.
Mr. Yazzie was born on June 5, 1926 in Bread Springs, New Mexico and he passed away on January 11, 2010 in Grants, New Mexico.
He is survived by his children: Gary Yazzie of Prewitt, New Mexico, Michael Yazzie of Haystack, New Mexico, Dan J. Yazzie of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Bernice Romero of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Genevia Becenti of Mexican Springs, New Mexico; 22 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Frances Rose Yazzie; Parents: Toda Chinne Begay and Mary "Do nup pah" Yazzie; Children: Don Yazzie, Steven Yazzie and Curtis Yazzie and numerous brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be: John Howard, DeWayne Begay, Derek Begay, Michael Yazzie, Gary Yazzie and Jason Chapo
